There are many ARA's in Austin and the surrounding area. The ARA located on Parmer in Cedar Park is amazing! I love how small it is compared with Round Rocks I-35 location. Your employees are phenominal, seriously. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel comfortable. Their desk receptionists are so friendly, efficient and explain what your insurance covered and what you are responsible for. Being called in 10 minutes before appt time the icing on the cake
Taken back promptly for X-ray and told I could get a cd of the exam. Waited a long time w no updates from staff. When I finally asked they said the system was having problems. Communication would have been appropriate so I could decide whether I wanted to wait another 30 mins for the cd. When I told them I would prefer to come back later, I had to ask if they could call when it was ready instead of staff offering a solution.
I came here a while back to get x-rays done on my knee. I came in to ask about my insurance and wanted to make an appointment. It was early afternoon and the guy said they accepted walk-ins, so I waited in the lobby for about 30-45 minutes to be called. After that, the whole thing took about 5-10 minutes. The staff was nice and everything was quick and simple.
Also, I received a $200 bill after paying the $500 estimated bill they gave me. Shady shady.
Poor business practices. They reported me to collections for an $81 bill, when they didn't try contacting me via phone or email(bill was sent to a 3 year old address). They did not try to remedy the issue at all.
ARA tells you that services are covered by insurance and they are not (up sell). You get a bill and they make no effort to correct the "error" for their customers (will not return calls). Deceitful business practices...
