I WISH I CAN GIVE A ZERO STAR, THIS PLACE DOESN'T WORTH ANY STAR. WORST GYM and WORST EMPLOYEES EVER! THEY ARE THIEVES! THEY CHARGED ME $50 LATE CHARGE ON $35 MEMBERSHIP FEE. THEY SAY MY CC WAS CHANGED AND NOT UPDATED. THERE WERE NO EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS. HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT CC BEING DECLINED?? I GO TO THIS CLUB 4-5 TIMES A WEEK, NO MESSAGE WHEN THEY SCAN MY CARD! I SPOKE TO "AMBER" ON THE PHONE AND SHE WAS LEAST HELPFUL. SHE WANTED TO GIVE $20 BACK, I ASKED TO HER TO KEEP THAT AS A TIP. STAY AWAY FROM THIS THIEVES!!! GO AHEAD STEAL MY $50. I WON'T BE POOR BECAUSE OF THIS, MAYBE YOU MIGHT BE RICH. SOMEONE IS WATCHING FROM ABOVE.
Great instructors on classes, but very bad management. They keep cancelling classes, changing schedules without notifying anyone. Main managers, Amber and Matt are very unprofessional, clueless about staff and customer management. Too bad there is no "zero" stars, one star is too generous. Stay away if you can. Only good thing about this place is its proximity to my house and cheap price, needless to say, you get what you pay for.
Y'all need to work on not losing the coaches that are actually good at coaching...... The main reason I actually tolerated going to this gym was because of the Body Attack classes and apparently those aren't being offered anymore. Aside from that, Michelle was one of the best coaches I ever got to work with. She cared about us so much, and we were like a golds gym family. Now that she is gone because of an issue that was taken way too far on Amber's side, there is nothing appealing about this gym, aside from its convenient location. If you want to talk "professionalism" stop bringing personal drama into the workplace. The negativity is annoying and customers shouldn't have to deal with it. If anyone needs a lesson on professionalism, it's definitely not Michelle.
I don't know where to start....I have never ever experienced the frustration that I have experienced with Gold Gym Cypress Creek specifically Amber. She needs mentoring and training on how to manage customers and employees and how to resolve issues without making them personal. I blame Gold's Gymfor that since they haven"t trained her properly. Y'all need to start listening to your instructors and customers. Body attack class and Michelle was a jewel to this gym but you managed to destroy it. Congratulations on demonstrating how NOT to manage a business. The only reason I come here is that it is near my house, no other reason whatsoever. Please rethink your approaches to your instructors and DO NOT BREAK THINGS that add the most value to your business. By the way Michelle has been the most professional instructor I have ever had the opportunity to get to know.
Facility is nice/clean. The Sunday Piyo class is awesome! It’s always full yet they only offer Piyo once a week. :(
You’d think they increase offerings but from what I can tell, management here is not-so-good. On more than one occasion, I’ve arrived to a canceled class-no notification. No apologies. The last time I arrived to find a class was canceled (no heads up) two managers were literally arguing with members about the situation & airing staff “dirty laundry”. It was quite a spectacle. There was no “the customer is always right” in this situation. The two managers were basically gaining up on the members being very condescending, refusing to listen to the members concerns. At any rate, there is another Gold’s in Cedar Park. If considering a membership, that location is probably a better bet—at least until Cypress “shapes up”. I noticed, management doesn’t even respond to Google reviews...that’s telling in and of itself.
