Resently I shop here then visited across the street Wal-Mart. The prices are almost 40 to 50% less then HD for many small home project items. Example wire rope is $ .26 c in HD . WM. $13 c ...
I rented the same pressure washer I always rent and this one's nozzle was stuck and would not increase pressure (or decrease, it was just stuck). I called in to inform them of this problem. When I sent someone to return with the machine, the nozzle still didn't budge. Home Depot charged us 4 hours for a machine that did not function correctly. When I returned to the store to dispute this charge, the cashier admitted he had gotten the nozzle to function AFTER the return, but would not refund my money. He called an assistant manager that refused to listen to me because the machine worked correctly now.
UPDATED FROM 1 STAR to 3 STARS: I sent my review into the email provided on the Home Depot website. I received an email back very quickly with a request for me to call and speak with Shawna. Shawna was very helpful and understanding about what happened. She offered to send me a reimbursement check or store credit. I accepted the store credit as I have never had any issues with the cashiers or workers on the main floor. I will not rent at this location to avoid dealing with these specific employees again but Shawna's kindness and understanding reminded me that a couple bad eggs do not equal the entire store.
Now next time I will visit WM first...my hardworking dollars!!
Shame on you, Home Depot, for having employees that treat your customers this way!

Worst customer service. The assistant manager at the location is inconsiderate. Purchased a built in Microwave and was told I’ll be refunded if I returned with 24 hours of delivery and when I did return because the unit was smaller they charged me 15% in restock fees and I also lost the delivery charge. I was going to have them come and measure the built in space and buy a high end microwave but walked away because I felt they did not care about the customer. I used the buy all my home needs from Home Depot and will never go back to them now.
Great location and superb staff at this location. Garden area is clean and organized.
Great prices, DMV style checkout. Self checkout only means that everyone has to wait for a single person to verify all of your items. Lines for checkout are routinely 15+ minutes long so bring a book or go elsewhere.
HD is great place to shop for any home need. Staff to this location is nice. Store managers are ok ...not that helpful.
I understand that equipment malfunctions and can be repaired, but it is horrible customer service and just down right sleazy to charge me for finding the problem in your machine. I was unable to use the machine! The proper thing to do would have been to refund my 4 hour fee so I could have rented the repaired equipment tomorrow with 4 hours of daylight.
