DISHONEST! I am filing a BBB report today about them. I gave them a shot at my business and took 20 pieces to them. 17 shirts and 3 pants. I asked for LAUNDERED on the shirts with light starch. They decided to DRY CLEAN a bunch of my shirts at 3x the cost. The employee that "greeted" me really didn't give a crap, he didn't get my name right (even though he asked me to spell it), he put my phone number is wrong, etc. Then when I point out the screw up at check out and I am obviously mad, Kelly the "owner" really didn't give a crap either and wanted to find a way out of making it right. I will NEVER go back and do my best to share my story. I will answer any questions as this a real complaint and I"m hopping mad!
UPDATE: I just filed the BBB complaint. I asked for -0- resolution, just wanted to share the story. Going back to my other cleaner.
I have tried other dry cleaners and I come back here for two reasons. First, they do a really good job. Second, and most importantly, they do a really good job at a really good price.

HORRIBLE CLEANERS!!!!!! I have been a frequent customer for a long time and the last time I went to pick up my items one of my items was missing. I was missing a very expensive sweater that I had only worn once. I went back and forth with the manager Donnie for a month about trying to find my sweater and he was so unhelpful. He said he would look for it and that he would call me back several times and never did. Then, I made a personal appearance to see what was going on and he was not there. I talked to one of the employees and she gave me the owner’s phone number. So, I called and left him a voice message. I was very nice about the situation because I know sometimes things get misplaced. Well, the owner KELLY just called me and was mad because I called him and called me a LIAR and said they did not have my sweater. I dropped off the sweater and I never got it back. They lost it and Kelly didn’t care what so ever. He told me "Maybe you should take your business elsewhere!" and hung up on me. I AM SOOO APPAULED BY THE WAY I WAS TREATED!!! I am shaking writing this complaint, I am so upset! I will NEVER EVER go back to this cleaners or any Star Brite Cleaners for that matter!! I am filing a BBB complaint. It is not ok to lose something and not do anything about it!!!! I would have been ok with an apology and a free dry cleaning service or something like that.... But instead I got yelled and called a liar!! DO NOT GO TO STAR BRITE CLEANERS!!!!!! THEY DO NOT DESERVE ANY BUSINESS!! If something goes wrong..... You will get treated like DIRT!!!!
Bad Service and dishonest billing! It could have been easily fixed by the OWNER. I can't imagine letting an obviously upset client leave without working to understand what happened and how to fix it. Pathetic, but that's what I've gotten used to with these types of businesses. I would pay more for actual service..
I have been coming here for quite some time now--at least 2 1/2 years bringing loads of clothing in each month. I love the friendliness of the staff and the fact that things can be cleaned so quickly. I have had two items misplaced in the time frame of being a customer, but that stuff is going to happen; it's the way they have taken care of the issues that matters to me. I have been credited the exact amount of the lost items and have not had to deal with any argument over the matters. I left another local cleaner for being downright rude about misplacing my item and me (God forbid), wanting them to credit for having lost it. This place is great, and as long as they keep up the way they're running things, I will stay a client.
