I called for them to give me a quote for a new roof. The guy named Gary came and asked me for my insurance papers to get the measurements of my roof... The papers don't mention that so I suggested he could get it off the satellite program. He was like "Oh so you're getting other bids?". I was thinking no duh I'm not going to just get one bid and think that is the best....I told him yes. He then proceeds to say "Well it is $80 every time so you are just wasting my time". He quickly turned and walked away rudely. He is actually wasting my time because I'm the one with a whole in my roof and simply wanted a quote to find the best deal fast.......
I called Acme to give me a quote on a leak in my roof that had caused a water stain on the ceiling in my kitchen. Someone came out and spent about an hour here looking at the roof leak and taking lots of pictures. He said he also saw hail damage and anticipated us needed a whole new roof. He called back right away to follow up and when I told him we would not be getting an entire new roof but that I would still like a quote for the initial leak/water damage, he never called back. Even after I contacted Acme's office to ask again for the quote, I never heard from them again. Looks like Acme is only after the big, money-making jobs.
I had a roof replacement done. Very professional job, roof looks great! They noticed some broken / cracked pieces of mortar on top of the chimney and fixed it without my asking. Pleasure doing business with Gary and Mike. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends.
