Over the past year, the staff really proved their professionalism - we were planning an international move, and couldn't have relocated our pets without them! Dr Jenkins was the only USDA certified vet on staff, and along with the technicians and staff, he made sure we got everything for the pet-import process done correctly and on time.
Ok service. Ok Clinic. Vet had bad personable service. Never made eye contact. Low rating due to money first. Customer second mentality. They peddle a very expensive name brand heartworm prevention and discourage you to seeking heartworm medication outside their Clinic. If you do they will make you get a yearly heartworm test. I moved to the area and needed a new vet. My past vets never had this policy. So needless to say but I would say they have this in place due to kick backs from pharmaceutical companies.
We recently moved to the area and were recommended to Cedar Park Animal clinic by a friend. What turned into routine visits for our elderly cat and dog, progressed into having to put them both down within a 2 mos span. The doctors and staff were wonderful to us and our family. Great value and the best advice on treatment options and care. They even sent a follow up sympathy card.
I would highly recommend them!
Have been going here for years. I'm even friends with some of the employees. Twice now we have had emergency type problems with our dogs during their normal business hours. They didn't make any effort to get us in to see the doctor They just told us they didnt have any openings, and to go to the emergency center. A few days ago, our puppy was feeling bad not eating and lethargic. They couldn't fit us in so we made a apoinment for two days later. We ended up having to take him to the emergency clinic where he ended up dieing. A few years ago my Lab was injured and had a laceration on his leg. I put him in the car and rushed him to the clinic. When I went in the receptionist said the doctors were booked and couldn't see him. I asked for the supervisor and was told the same thing. I was at the clinic with my dog that was injured and bleeding and they turned me away. That is just unimaginable I ended up calling another clinic and they immediately got us in to see the doctor. I have known Dr Douglas and Dr Thompson for a long time and have taken many of my family's pets to them over the years. Something has changed.... They have really good creamatory services which we now need.
We've been bringing our animals here for well over a year and they are always fantastic. Quick visits with great vets and techs who are always willing to answer my questions and see us with little issues or concerns. They do a great job with the animals and are always nice to me and my toddler as well.
We have been taking our cats to CP Animal Clinic since 2008, and have always been happy with the care provided. The clinic may not look like much, but its well maintained, and the staff really go the extra mile. The cats have been seen by different vets over the years, and we have also occasionally used the clinic's boarding facilities.
