I was returning an online order, cookware set, one day after they were delivered. We used one of them once to boil paste with clear water and found we do not like them then decided to return them. We washed the one we used and put them back to the boxes. We already printed the UPS labels but later decide to go to store if there is something better.
The cookware set came with a Macy's box outside of the original box. When I bring the items to this store with the original box for returning, at first the customer service challenged me it should come with a black box. I showed them the stickers on the box it is the original box I got. Then he claimed the pan has water fog and they can not take anything has been used. I was shocked with the words "We can't take anything has been used".
To Macy's...if you can't offer customers a way to purchase your products, then please close your doors until you can!!! Staff were almost rude and imagine, they too were frustrated!! Macy's COULD have offered to hold the item (s) and give customers a small discount for trouble to come back. Or...pulled out the old credit card machines...seems there was a workable solution but instead, many left upset, including my daughter and I. No regard for customer satisfaction nor finding solutions...leaving customers frustrated and dealing with frustrated staff/attitudes. Macy's lost my business today and ongoing, for good. I do realize these things happen, but being treated like we were today, no excuse for that!!! I will stick with online shopping going forward. So much for shopping local...sorry Cedar Park.
I opened this account in 12/22/16 so I could by my wife,and son gift for there b day it's bee a very wonderful experience. There's always sales the people at watch department are very kind I've purchased three watches there enjoyed there courtesy.I plan to keep this account open and close others I have for this will do they have everything you need in this store.how ever the lady at service department are a little rude.maybe bad day for I've had a few of those myself.
Intimate Dept was not helpful. She was hesitant to help and didn't seem knowledge about how bras should fit correctly and just kept asking if I thought it fit. I'm not a trained bra fitter that's why I came here. She said it was up I the customer to determine fit. No it's not because most people without training would buy the wrong size for themselves
Well, just went to UPS. Never experienced such rude customer service before.
Today was black Friday and honestly, I don't typically go out. However, decided to spend the day with my daughter. We went to Macy's and my daughter found the perfect gift for her "Mema". However, when we went to pay, they could not make the sale, as credit card system was having problems. Sale after sale was turned away, and lots of extremely frustrated customers.
Worst of the Worst - they will not answer the phone - even if you ask for Executive Office or Manager. You get sent to several option. Even if you leave a message, they will not call you back
